How Do I Submit My Music For Airplay Consideration?

All Smooth Jazz Artists are welcome to submit tracks for airplay consideration, but please be aware of and adhere to the following submission guidelines. 

We will also consider other genres for airplay (although our theme is Smooth Jazz/Jazz of any culture ie Brazilian Jazz etc) if there is a hint of "smooth" "Easy Listening, R&B, Urban Adult, Down Tempo, Electronic/Instrumental.

2. Please include a press kit (if available), bio, Photo to use on our Artist Slider, website address and BUY links with submission.

3. If you would like to submit a physical CD, please be aware that it must be of professional quality. Our mailing address is:

4. A CD submitted for review will not be returned.

5. We reserve the right to be selective in the music considered for airplay. That being said, submission of your CD does not guarantee that your music or spoken word will be broadcast on WJMX-DB Smooth Jazz Boston ( www.smoothjazzboston.com )

1. Submit in MP3 Format and use a bulk file transfer program like 'WeTransfer', 'Files Anywhere' or 'WeTransfer' which lets you transfer 2 GiG free with no registration. Upload it to one of them and send us the page details for downloading. You can also just send your files to us via your favorite email program (no file size limitations).
2. Please send us the link to your Official Website, MySpace or Reverb Nation page where we can listen to your tracks.
3. We ask that you create your Artist Profile at our website, so that you will be able to promote your music by uploading your track(s), and/or album(s) and set them to FREE or BUY Download (we use Paypal as the payment processor for any of your music that is sold), and attract a Fan Base/Listeners. If you think any of your music would fit into our Smooth Jazz Theme, feel free to send us your track(s) or please give us the name of your website so that we can preview your music. Please read the following notes first.

1. Make sure your tracks are in "mp3" format. We will accept any "kbps" rate.
2. Name or rename audio files like <name> - <title>.mp3. ie: song.mp3
3. Include a DOC, TXT or PDF file with some information about you,

or a BIO, your music: (a link to your website so that we may listen), your website, your social networks, etc. You can also send your e-press kit or whatever you have. Include album/single artwork.

1. (No Longer Required)Include a photo of yourself or image we can use to place in our Artist Slider 240X135 pixels in size. (if you want us to re-size try to send us a photo that is more rectangular than square if possible). Include cover art also if you would like the image to be of a CD that you want to promote. If you have a YouTube video that you would like us to link out to, please provide us with the URL.
2. Send us all tracks you would like for us to provide airplay for within our daily programming schedule. If approved, your tracks will be set to rotate randomly a minimum of 1- 3 times within each 24 hour period.
3. You can also send us a link to download all of the above info and use YouSendIt or share a Dropbox folder, or whatever you prefer.
4. Join our website at http://www.smoothjazzboston.com and create an Artist, Manager, Producer, Music Marketer, Promoter, or Record Label Company profile.
5. (Being revised)We do require you to kindly place a "verifiable" link on your Facebook page, official website, or blog.
